Avenged Sevenfold

It was crazy. That's all I can say about it. Okay, well not ALL I can say about it, but if I had to use just one word to summarize the entire night, crazy is about the best word in all of language-dom that could describe it =P.
Can you believe it I brought my darn camera and yet once they started playing all I could do was shove my camera back into my bag and hang on for dear life. It was all I did not expect and more. The insane heat! Malaysia at its very worse. Hot, balmy night with occasional short puffs of breeze. Then the crowd. It was like. I don't know. Sardines? Vacuum packed peanuts? Something like that. So imagine a hundred truckloads of vacuum packed peanuts in a microwave. And then imagine the peanuts going crazy and popping about and turning into popcorn (I know that popcorn is very technically made from corn kernels, but right now is no time to be choosy with similes =P).
That was later in the night though. At the beginning of the day I still had time to wander about online and lunch on nasi paprik and take photos at the bus stop and places on the way to the venue:

Look at the crowd! And this is only waiting to enter, at around 6-ish. We were in line at 5-ish, and the crowd just grew and grew.

Game faces on, yo! Though honestly speaking I was mostly quiet up to the opening act because I wanted to conserve energy. I should thank Akito-sama I did, because after that it took all the energy in me to stay alive.
I was certainly not dressed for the rocker scene, though (Sarah was absolutely impressive in her all black garb and leather bomber jacket). I was more dressed for the weather in my L4D shirt (v2.0!) and denim shorts. Thank gawd tho. I've never had my shirt COMPLETELY soaked in sweat until I could have literally wrung the sweat out of it. As mentioned, I did not take a single photo/video of the performance, simply because I had no chance to. I only managed to get a shot of the stage before the crowds came in:

And then after the night back in Desa we had a mini group shot, a bunch of tired, rocked out peepers:

I felt like the concert was a twee bit too short. Maybe because everything was just a non stop action-packed sweaty mob-filled rockgasm. I think there were more cons than pros to my experience, but hell. I saw and heard Avenged Sevenfold. Completely worth it. And it was certainly a one of a kind experience. Made me appreciate life, fresh air and cold showers a whole lot more 8D.

That's all for now folks! Last post for April, let us all usher in May with wide open arms! \   ^O^  /

Numumumu

Omgomgomg I can't believe I saw Westlife- LIVE! ^O^. I can die almost happy now, yes. Woohoo! I've learnt something though- and that is if you've made the decision to go see you favourite band live, the only thing sensible enough to do is to get a seat where you can actually SEE them on stage. Up at where I was sitting them Irish hotties were the size of my thumb =P.
Twas still an amazing experience, though. The lighting was just right, not overtly flashy. Westlife sang beautifully- as good as on album, if not better. It was just so unbelievable to hear songs I've been playing over and over on my itunes/MP4 being performed right there and then. And the members were really engaging during breaks. And then there was that lucky lucky man who proposed to the even luckier woman up on stage...man that was very epic indeed =D.

Shane! ^O^ Maigawd I think I've fallen in love with him all over again. I think he's still as handsome as ever, even after 12 years =D.

View of the stadium from my seat. Maigawd, the inclination was STEEP! O^O Could feel myself getting vertigo just looking down in front of me, lol. The good thing is that no irritating head blocked me throughout the show, even if the person in front of me were to stand up. And I was assured that when I stood up, no one behind me would be irritated XD.
*Note to self: GET CLOSER SEATS AT NEXT CONCERT!!! >=[*

I got to the stadium with Gee and Myra, and then met up with my sister there. Twas the first time Gee and her were to meet, lol. It was a super super super fun night though. No regrets of going whatsoever =D. Go Westlife! I'm so going to play your songs during my wedding, lol.

By the way, anyone know where I can find these pair of shoes? They look so simple yet quirky with the moustache design. Never saw them anywhere. I love the bright colours!!! ^O^

Anyway, return to assignments and to cook up something nice. Tomorrow be a very special day indeed >w<. Toodles~!

P.S: Holy caow 9 more posts!!!

23.9.11

It seems that I have forgotten to blog about something...

8D

All that childhood memories of how I fangirled over Westlife just came pouring back to me when I heard that they were coming to KL on their Gravity tour. And it helps wonderfully that their Gravity album holds a very dear spot in my heart, having been playing in my ears full blast during a certain tender confessing moment ^O^.

Omgomgomgomgomg I'm going to see Westlife for real!!! *spins around in joy*

I mean, I don't think I'll actually be able to SEE see them.
..what with the seat being faaaaaaaar away from the stage- as far as distance can go from far to stage, whatever that means, lol. Anyways, yes me be going to the Westlife concert October 7th wheewheeWHEE!! 8D.

Anyway, the other reason why I be blogging (yet again) is to show off some film shots! =D. Which brings me to the realization that I've never quite introduced the little bugger....

That's Yashi-chan and Pika-pika Domo-kun. They be very good friends =3.

Anyway, finally got the first roll of film printed and dear Esmond scanned them all into the computer. I wanted to upload them on FB but for some ungodly reason I can't seem to upload pics and/or create albums now (*shakes fist at Maxis towerpoint*). So I shall present a few of them here:

I LOVE how the colours came out! I know, you'd probably be able to get just the same with a DSLR+Photoshop, but really, nothing beats seeing the results of your shots right in your hand. A roll should have 36 shots, but somehow or other 38 shots were produced XD. So apart from a few underexposed ones, it's a full roll =3.

I believe I've been blogging a twee bit too much these days =P. Don't worry, I've no plans of stopping, not yet, lol. Farewell folks. Tomorrow is going to be a happy day out <3
